Independent Lake Camp will provide you with a
summer of exponential professional growth, with irreplaceable
friendships and contacts of campers and colleagues,
with the beauty of our natural setting, lifelong memories,
and untold fun. Our staff is the most important aspect
of running a quality camp. Please take a moment to read

Independent Lake Camp is a co-ed, non-traditional, residential
camp located in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania.
We are located 2.5 hours north of New York City and
2.5 hours north of Philadelphia in the small town of
Orson PA. Independent Lake Camp attracts campers and
counselors from all over the USA and abroad. We cater
to ages 6-17 and offer 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 9 week sessions.
We offer plenty of time off, one period every day and
4 nights per week. You will also receive one day off
per week but not including the first and last week of
your contract. We do not impose a staff curfew. We are
looking for staff who have an expertise in a certain
area and a passion to share that expertise with kids.
We are also looking for a few general Counselors.
The staff dates for 2008 are June 17th - August 25th.
