The experience at ILC is very inspiring to help encourage all people to reach a state of acceptance of others AND ourselves.
I have learned to try new things no matter what, ILC has helped find new strengths, I have made tons of close friends, it has helped me find who I am and what I have the power to do, how to have patience with others, but most of all, how to have a damn-ass good time. I always know how to find the fun in everything so I can enjoy it (except for math). I have learned that having fun is more important than anything else thanks to camp.
I also have achieved a ton of acceptance in myself and others. I have made the most amazing friends at camp that I would have never met if it wasn’t for ILC. They inspire me and push me to do my best, and I love that they do that.
